Choose A Suitable Hydraulic Fluid For Hydraulic System



Hydraulic liquid is the single most important ingredient throughout the hydraulic filters system. The choice of hydraulic oil varies according to the hydraulic system and application. One can choose from various oils such as automatic transmission liquid, double -class engine oil or anti -wear hydraulic oil.

Viscosity is another major factor for choosing hydraulic liquid. All favorable or exclusive traits of hydraulic oil are not useful if the level of visimal oil is not synchronizing with the operating temperature of the system given. Inappropriate viscosity can cause the use of the life of potential components. There are a number of factors involved in determining the level of viscosity of the fluid that is suitable for the hydraulic system provided, such as:

- Initial viscosity at the lowest temperature

- The entirely anticipated operating temperature is actually determined by the temperature around the maximum.

- Range of appropriate and permitted viscosity according to the system component.

Class Oil / Mono Grade

Now, if the hydraulic system is needed to operate in low or tropical temperature conditions, it is recommended to use several class oils to maintain viscosity within the permitted limits that stretch in various operating temperature ranges. If the viscosity of the liquid given can be maintained properly, which is around 25 to 36 centers, the hydraulic system will become more efficient by using lower input power to heat up. This shows that some class fluids help a lot in reducing electricity consumption from the given hydraulic system. Although an expert will never recommend using multiple class oil if a system has a lower operating temperature range and somehow is possible to maintain fluid viscosity using mono class oil.

Detergent oil

Detergent oil is famous for developing water and eliminating and capturing other contaminants such as mud or varnish. Generally, DIN 51524; HLP-D fluid, also known as anti-wear hydraulic fluid, is consisting of detergent and dispersing. Most hydraulic component manufacturers support the use of this oil for contaminant -free components. But contaminants if detergent oil needs to be filtered because it is not resolved. Detergent oil is very suitable for cellular hydraulic systems because its size is relatively smaller and therefore, has fewer opportunities for deposition and precipitation of contaminants. Water is very dangerous for any hydraulic system because it can cause some problems such as corrosion, oil aging, reduction of lubrication etc. The advantage of using detergent oil is that eliminated water can be easily converted into steam in the very loaded part of the system and detergent oil helps enculsive water content.

Anti use oil

Anti -wear oil is basically used to maintain lubrication within permissible limits. Now-A-every, the most commonly used anti-use additives in engine and hydraulic oil are zinc dialkyl dirtiophosphate, as an alternative, ZDDP. Although the use or existence of ZDDP is not always recommended because it is famous for attacking metals by breaking it chemically or reducing the ability of their filters. At present, sophisticated and stable ZDDP chemistry basically succeeds in overcoming this problem, thus, turning it into an important additive for all high -performance hydraulic systems. In fact, this makes it profitable for cellular applications as well as a combined concentration of around 900 parts per million.
